DTM Group is 100% CASL Compliant.
The Government of Canada officially introduced the Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) in 2014. Details can be found directly on CRTC’s CASL information page, or you can visit Government of Canada: Fight Spam for additional information.
Marketers should be aware that CASL prohibits the sending of Commercial Electronic Messages without consent. CASL requires that a sender’s contact information be included in all emails as well as an easily accessible unsubscribe mechanism that is valid for at least 60 days and takes effect without delay.
CASL is being implemented in phases, with the majority of CASL taking effect July 1, 2014. Private right of action will be available to anyone affected by a violation as of July 1, 2017.
